Shishido Baiken: In Eiji Yoshikawa's writing, Shishido Baiken was the foremost pioneer of the kusarigama. In Miyamoto Musashi's journey in search of a worthy opponent, Musashi defeated Baiken in a grueling duel where both ended-up fighting in a bamboo grove.
